Currency: The main page lists events that will occur in the end of April and May. I checked most of the links and http://www.neiu.edu/~campsrec/ which is launched from http://www.neiu.edu/Faculty_Staff/NEIU%20Services/Recreation/Recreation.html is a blank page with a broken image. It was the only page that I found issues with. This website is updated often.
Relevance: The websites purpose is to inform viewers on all aspects of NEIU. All of the information on the website is relevant. The intended audience is would be/current college students. The information is at an appropriate level.
Authority: It is unclear where any of the information on the site actually comes from. I would assume each department developed their own section, or at least oversaw it. There is a link at the bottom of every page that allows a user to contact a variety of people and departments. Additionally, there is a faculty and staff directory which is accessable from each page. The URL makes it obvious that it is an educational site.
Accuracy: There does not appear to be any spelling, grammar, or other typographical errors. It's difficult to verify the accuracy of the site, but as it is the main source of information for students, it would have to be assumed that the site is accurate.
Purpose: The purpose of the site is to inform. The website has a clear purpose. The information is fact. The point of view is objective and impartial. There are no political, ideological, cultural, religious, institutional, or personal biases.
Overall, www.neiu.edu passed the CRAAP test.
